Developing a Diversity Quotient (DQ)
Diversity programming and initiatives have become increasingly popular globally, with companies spending hundreds upon millions of dollars on training, hiring consultants, and creating various diversity positions within their companies. While some programs may yield some beneficial results, the vast majority of initiatives fall short of achieving any meaningful benefits. We have developed a 64-question assessment that measures organizations' diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) activities across six constructs. This simple-to-use tool expresses an organization's DEIA efforts as a Diversity Quotient (DQ) score. The higher the score, the more evidence of diversity-related activities and processes.
