About the Role

Working Environment

Works in an office environment sitting at a desk, table or computer workstation for extended periods of time. May travel by car, plane or other form of transportation to attend business meetings or conferences. Approximately 50-80 percent of the time spent on the job involves the use of a personal computer.
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to travel up to 20% on the time

Requirements

Essential Duties

Strategy Development

Develops creative strategies and plans to meet annual DE&I targets in collaboration with the Legal & People division
Identifies and creates new DE&I initiatives that improve the employee experience, and better serve our Members.
Contributes to the awareness and advancement of our DE&I strategy through thought leadership, external benchmarking and insights development.
Supports the CL&PO as a trusted advisor on a range of DE&I topics.
Operations

Establishes systems, processes and tools to advance DE&I objectives.
Supports Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
Prepares and disseminates DE&I information to appropriate stakeholders regarding program status, reporting, and milestones.
Oversees agreements with external DE&I vendors to ensure timely delivery of programs.
Manages and directs annual program budget; provides quarterly forecasts on expenses.
Stakeholder Engagement

Develops and maintains positive and productive internal and external partner relationships to develop best practices and deliver against DE&I goals.
Serves as champion for DE&I initiatives, proactively engaging key stakeholders and partners.
