About the Role
The Director of Belonging and Inclusion leads and supports the development and preservation of Affinity / Employee Resource Group (ERG) teams, committees and councils who share a common commitment for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) excellence. This position leads and creates opportunities for group participation, interaction and dialogue pertaining to DEI topics, activities, and events throughout Community Health Network. The Director partners with the Director of DEI Education & Learning to promote an open and innovative work culture, seeking to create authentic communication across the organization and the external communities served. The Director assists, develops, nurtures, and sustains synergistic and collaborative relationships with offices, departments, and units to develop an environment of belonging, committed to cultivating practices congruent with Community Health Network's PRIIDE Values.
Minimum of one (1) year working with large teams and facilitating learning initiative outcomes.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant, demonstrated experience in developing curriculum and program design that supports diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Master’s degree required, preferably in training and development, humanities, social sciences, or another related field.

Effectively communicates to all levels of the organization. Demonstrates excellent listening and assessment skills; demonstrates strong presentation and public speaking skills, written and verbal skills. Discusses and presents complicated information in a simple and straightforward way.
Must be self-directed and demonstrates initiative to seek and prioritize work.
