About the Role
Apply diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) expertise to inform research design, strategic planning, performance measurement, and strategic communications for the Department of Defense. Conduct and synthesize research, literature reviews, and data calls to inform program and policy decisions. Interpret and extract comprehensive insights from multiple data sources to identify program priorities and define goals, objectives, and key performance indicators. Develop executive reports and briefings containing qualitative and quantitative information. Prepare agendas, talking points, meeting minutes, and action items for stakeholder meetings. Develop and track execution of project plans, coordinating across multiple stakeholder groups as appropriate.
Experience with synthesizing research in areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA)
Experience with creating presentations and briefings for clients or executive leaders
Experience with developing and tracking project schedules
Ability to extract key insights from quantitative and qualitative data and incorporate them into reports, briefings, strategic plans, and communications products
Ability to prepare meeting materials and identify key takeaways and next steps
Ability to provide clear verbal and written communications to a variety of clients and stakeholders
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of experience with synthesizing research or Master’s degree and 1+ years of experience with synthesizing research
Experience with developing or analyzing diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility policies and programs
Experience with working in or supporting working groups or initiatives involving multilateral stakeholder coordination
Experience with analyzing and developing strategic plans
Knowledge of U.S. military talent management processes
Knowledge of public health and social science research application in a military setting
Bachelor's degree in public health or social sciences is preferred
