Proven history of working successfully with individuals and groups representing a wide range of cultural backgrounds, orientations, and life experiences
Passion for diversity, equity and inclusion needed to persist in generating program support and solving complex problems.
Ability to promote understanding of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion across the organization by providing consultative guidance to people leaders on leading diverse employees in an inclusive work environment.
Business acumen, expertise, and insights to advise our internal stakeholders in making member-facing initiatives and touchpoints fully inclusive of our diverse membership, and to enhance our inclusive external brand.
Ability to support, engage and coordinate Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and their programs and initiatives, ensuring alignment with program strategy and continued ERG maturation.
Requisite skills to track and analyze workforce diversity demographic metrics and employee engagement data and provide updates and reports as needed, including for compliance reporting.
Proficient in MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Publisher) and familiarity with internal content management tools (SharePoint).


REQUIREMENTS: Education & Experience
Bachelors’ Degree or equivalent work experience
Two to four years’ work experience in a professional organization, or additional years of education may be considered in lieu of work experience
Demonstrated experience with diversity and inclusion within a business or non-profit

This role will report to the Director – Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, working to put GEHA’s DE&I strategy and initiatives into action in support of our strategic goals. As the DE&I Consultant, you will work across the organization to provide consultative guidance, program facilitation and functional expertise on diversity, equity, inclusion initiatives to our leaders, employees, and business stakeholders. You will leverage your relationship-building, systems thinking, and passion for equity and inclusion to externally promote the GEHA inclusive brand and to internally foster an inclusive culture that will enable all employees to thrive as their authentic selves.
Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. GEHA considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and business considerations when extending an offer.
The annual base salary range for this position is $67,164 - $94,036 USD.
