About the Role

• Leads and manages all DEI projects and programs to ensure timely and accurate completion and follow-up aligned with goals that reinforce an inclusive culture, partners with different leaders and relevant constituents to build partnerships, and sources opportunities to drive DEI initiatives. -20%


• Leads cross-functional projects and facilitates meetings; handles project documentation and plans including success metrics, timelines, and milestones to ensure timely completion of project deliverables; and communicates project status across the organization. -15%



• Partners closely with Director, Talent Development in DEI training, learning opportunities, and education including content design and facilitation of DEI training programs and internal development and educational events in support of DEI strategy; partners in end-to-end program oversight of DEI initiatives and company goals through defined training plans, agreed-upon ROI metrics learning effectiveness, managing time bound milestones, and timely status updates. -15%
• Chairs Associate DEI Advisory Group to provide necessary support for and engagement of DEI initiatives; partners with relevant constituents to proactively support Community Groups/affinity groups (aka ERGs) and related resources. -10%


• Partners with Talent Acquisition to train and educate hiring managers on how to attract, select, engage, and retain diverse associates; represents DEI at JAMS with TA at various career events; partners with Director, Talent Acquisition to implement sourcing and attraction strategies from underrepresented groups; and develops relationships with professional organizations, educational institutions, local community groups, and non-profit organizations providing resources to HR to attract diverse talent. -10%


• Partners with Diversity Program Manager and Marketing for any external communication on website and social media pages to ensure use of non-discriminatory language; partners to participate in and network extensively at internal and external DEI engagements and events; and establishes relationships with relevant professional associations and organizations to promote organization’s DEI efforts. -10%


• Identifies, analyzes, and communicates DEI trends, issues, and opportunities; understands business implications and impact to associates and JAMS. Measures and forecasts diversity metrics and ensures certain goals are achieved and sustained; attends related conferences, meetings, and other external programs to learn about new best practices within DEI. Proposes and implements continuous improvements to DEI initiatives. -10%


• Partners with Director, Talent Development and other HR colleagues to maintain all diversity related data and shares pertinent information for RFPs, surveys, or other business reasons; establishes and maintains all statistical data relating to diversity and tracks all year-over-year data. -10%

Requirements

Education (experience can be substituted for education)

Bachelor's Degree in Sociology, Ethnic Studies, HR, Organizational Psychology, or relevant field. -Preferred
Master's Degree in related field. -Preferred


Experience (education can be subsitituted for experience)

4-6 years of working in professional diversity and inclusion. -Required
4-6 years of planning, designing and delivering programs, events, and implementing best practices related to D&I. -Required
4-6 years of managing diversity initiatives. -Preferred
4-6 years of working as a DEI Learning & Development and Training professional. -Preferred
4-6 years of understanding and explaining labor and human rights legislation. -Preferred
4-6 years of demonstrating DE&I best practices in a professional services environment. -Preferred


Skills

Communication skills talking with panelists, staff, clients, etc. over the phone and/or face-to-face for extended periods of time. -Required
Ability to effectively and articulately communicate with clients in regards to services, policies, procedures, etc. -Required
Ability to travel will vary by time of the year, but is estimated at 15-20%. -Required

About the Company

Identifies and integrates DEI best practices into overall associate strategy. Partners with the Director, Talent Development, CHRO and other colleagues to cultivate and sustain a supportive, diverse, and inclusive workforce and work environment for all associates while leading the execution of JAMS associate diversity and inclusion strategy and goals. Collaborates closely with and advises senior management, Talent Development, Talent Acquisition, and additional applicable constituents to ensure alignment with business practices and the associate DEI strategic plan.
