About the Role
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Support development and management of DEI action plans and aid in executing the DEI strategy
Lead, design, and facilitate training sessions to aid DEI integration, leadership development, and Greystone culture initiatives.
Help manage and oversee Greystone’s leadership development programs and collaborate with HR and business leaders for success.
Research, recommend, and help execute creative strategies to foster Greystone’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals that support the DEI strategy, address business needs and drive business results.
Act as a change agent to execute DEI initiatives and programs through strong relationships and partnerships across the company.
Partner with head of DEI to infuse DEI into key HR functions including talent acquisition, talent management, learning and development, performance management, succession, employee engagement and retention, talent practices and policies, pay practices, and benefits.
Collaborate with HR/talent acquisition to recruit diverse talent on campus at universities and colleges.
Provide oversight and guidance to Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) through effective leadership, programming, and governance
Help manage enterprise-wide DEI events through partnerships with ERGs, the business, marketing, and others.
Benchmark and research DEI best practices and metrics to monitor and evaluate DEI progress.
Assess successes and opportunities through a regular cadence of meetings and reporting with key stakeholders and Head of DEI.
Develop and manage a comprehensive portfolio of relationships among local, regional, and national external diversity-related organizations to develop strategic partnerships throughout the CRE industry.
Work collaboratively with HR, marketing, and other colleagues to promote DEI brand to community, customers, industry partners and educational entities.
Manage and deliver high quality work in an effective and timely manner within budget.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Experience Required
Minimum of 5 years of relevant DEI and training experience
Current knowledge and understanding of DEI best practices
Relevant experience with organizational and leadership development
Program management experience
Strong change management and influencing capabilities
Proven track record of facilitating and designing training sessions
Exceptional communicator with strong, flexible, compassionate verbal and written communication skills
Diplomatic, adaptable, and can build relationships across the enterprise and at all levels
High proficiency in MS Office/Office 365
Education, Training & Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree is required

Reporting to the Managing Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), this role will be primarily responsible for executing and supporting facets of Greystone’s DEI strategy and organizational development. The role will assist in defining and implementing effective best practices that further embed diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) into Greystone culture. The candidate will serve as a thought partner while serving as a change agent in developing engaging DEI strategies. In partnership with the head of DEI, this role will assist in managing and leading DEI sessions, processes and practices that create an exceptional employee experience and drive a high performing, caring, and inclusive culture. The role will also support Greystone’s Leadership Development and mentoring programs, including program management and facilitation.
A successful candidate must employ both a people-centric and data-driven approach, with creativity and experience to develop integrated strategies that support an inclusive culture where all employees are empowered, respected and able to achieve their full potential.
