Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Facilitator
Develop and implement Goodwill Easterseals Miami Valley’s diversity initiatives and strategy to attract, hire and maintain a diverse workplace. Responsible for setting and implementing an overarching vision of diversity, equity and inclusion for the agency at both the programmatic and administrative levels. This position requires an inspiring, collaborative, courageous, innovative, and visionary leader with outstanding people skills.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Directs the design and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) strategies to advance the Agency’s understanding of DEI, increase the cultural competencies of employees, and expand the Agency’s impact in the communities served.
Creates and implements change management initiatives to create a culture of inclusion where every employee can reach their full potential.
Reviews current practices and policies, assessing and analyzing the extent to which they support or hinder the Agency’s diversity goals.
Develops, acquires, and provides training and development to aid diversity and retention initiatives.
Maintains knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.
Provides training and policy updates to colleagues ensuring legal compliance in conjunction with Human Resources.
Provides guidance to Supervisory and Human Resources staff in developing objective performance and other employee evaluations and policies.
Prepares and builds relationships among colleagues through diversity and inclusion training.
Other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, social work, business, education, or related field. At least two years specializing in diversity and equity programs. Experience in diversity, equity and inclusion may be substituted for bachelor’s degree.
Ability to conduct ongoing research regarding best practices in the area of DEI. Ability to advise on diversity, equity and inclusion issues and create program trainings and values around them. Must have experience in the implementation and development of a new DEI initiative. Must be self-driven and passionate about DEI with an eye for change.
Must maintain the ability to pass a criminal background check and random drug screens.

Ability to engage with diverse staff and leadership to promote trust, collaboration, and partnership between departments and levels of leadership.
Demonstrated track record in challenging and influencing peers to approach all work with an equity lens.
Ability to develop and monitor indicators of organizational culture and engage employees and senior leadership to create organizational change.
Able to quickly establish creditability to develop and manage productive relationships with internal and external individuals and agencies.
Ability to create/design adult learning and teaching of the content and skills associated with operating with an equity lens.
