Culture & Engagement

Embrace and implement Sanofi Play to Win culture across GBS

Define a compelling, lean and attractive GBS culture, focusing on employee experience, collaboration, innovation and positive work environment, to attract and retain top talent

Create strategies to implement, measure and maintain it, securing buy-in and support across our GBS teams and broader CHC and embedding culture across all levers (organizational design, governance, decision and communication frameworks)

Empower ‘culture champions’ within hubs and teams

Embrace a multi-faceted approach to innovation. Sensitize employees to innovation and its opportunities, motivate and inspire employees to engage in innovation alongside their day-to-day business (e.g., Hackathon, Plug and Play partnerships, BRIDGE -in collaboration with Automation Engine Head)

Actively contributes to the employer branding activity of GBS in close connection with HR and Corporate Communication

Partner with internal stakeholders to implement strategies for employee engagement and retention

Keep abreast of industry knowledge and trends by participating in conferences and educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining professional networks, and participating in professional organizations

Change Management & Communication

Support transformation across our GBS organization, working closely with global functional and change team to list expected changes and develop associated action plan, incl. communication & training materials related to processes & tools, coordinating with HR team on social communication agenda regarding TOM considerations

Develop and implement communication campaigns to build the image of GBS across countries, in line with the local and group strategies, and share “success stories” to support and sustain level of engagement

Ensure stakeholder management including regular communication, feedback and mitigation activities related to any gaps in knowledge, understanding or engagement

Background and Experience

Strong leadership and vision to create and sustain a culture of accountability, ownership, and delivery within the team

12-15 years, with an emphasis on Communication, Culture and/or Change Management

Postgraduate/MBA degree required

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence well at all levels and work confidently with executive and senior leadership

Effective business partnering and customer relations management

Effective collaboration skills and credibility among peers, stakeholders, and partners across the organization

Ability to analyze and synthetize large data sets into executive summaries to create a compelling case for change

Strong project leadership and management skills

Experience in transformation projects and appetite for change management

Strategic thinking and prioritizing capacity

High capacity and willingness to learn about multiple disciplines

Fluency in English mandatory/French and other European languages are a plus

Experience of working in a Shared Service Center environment or in the service industry with strong exposure to support managing large customer groups is a plus

About the Company

The Head of Culture & Engagement is responsible for designing and implementing GBS culture and values and driving thought leadership and strategic direction across GBS two newly formed Captive Hubs (~150 employees). Specifically, the focus is designing, developing, implementing, and evolving engagement actions that shape GBS culture to deliver on the strategy, business performance and our cultural aspiration.
