The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Risk and Control Lead will be responsible for managing, executing, and overseeing all risk, controls and oversight practices for DEI in support of an integrated divisional strategy. The role is a risk and controls subject matter expert with demonstrated experience in partnering with key stakeholders across the company to help develop, execute, and sustain risks, controls, and oversight practices. Key responsibilities include the following:
Partner with division leadership and practitioners to provide sustainable ways to ensure that products and solutions meet corporate risk and regulatory requirements and standards
Lead risk and control efforts for DEI, including regulatory priorities such as examinations and directives (e.g., processes documentation, remediation action plans, issue management, operational risk management, etc.)
Serve as a lead representative with key internal stakeholders (e.g., ERM-2LOD and Internal Audit) to support overall DEI operating model and program oversight and annual audits
Develop and sustain mutually beneficial relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., FHFA OMWI, Conservatorship and Regulatory Affairs, Internal Audit and ERM-2LOD, etc.)
Support the DEI Risk and Controls team with risk management, execution and oversight of privacy, policy compliance, supplier risk management, operational risk monitoring and reporting
Maintain, track and communicate status of critical risk and controls priorities to DEI leadership and key stakeholders
Typically has 8+ years of related experience
College degree or equivalent experience
Demonstrated experience supporting divisional risk and controls priorities and use of systems to support risk management and oversight (e.g., BWise)
Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
Strong project management skills to handle complex projects simultaneously
Ability to work well under pressure, with proven time management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment and organize complex information
