About the Role
*Locations - Austin, TX or Atlanta, GA *
The Inclusion & Diversity Program Manager will work closely with the Sr. Director, Global Inclusion Strategy to execute on the development and building of a Global Center of Excellence (GCOE) for inclusive business practices related to talent, social impact, sustainability, product development and client engagement. The Center of Excellence requires building out infrastructure to execute on a global strategy that uses knowledge management, best practices, tools, capabilities, resources and ideation. This role ensures all required action items are thoughtfully executed. As a member of the Inclusion & Diversity team, the Program Manager will work with various internal and external stakeholders to execute Visa’s inclusion initiatives which may have global implications. The position requires comfort working with data, working with existing and newly formed partnerships, collaborating globally and ability to manage in a quickly evolving space.
Manage the coordination of the development of the GCOE
Act as an integral and integrated member of the GCOE project team
Act as the centralized process for coordination of resources, planning, communication, measurement, documentation, logistics, problem solving, process improvements, and celebration
Organize data and program outcomes to align with the growth and scalability of the GCOE with awareness of global time zones
Measure program performance with qualitative and quantitative tools
Establish project plans and report on weekly milestones to drive successful outcomes
Work closely, collaborate, and learn from Inclusion & Diversity Program Managers and across Inclusive Impact & Sustainability
Support program logistics including scheduling, evaluation, and reporting
Coordinate communication plans with functional leadership and other internal stakeholders
Document the “playbook for GCOE” as a business imperative.
Benchmark using internal and external intelligence
Coordinate status report(s) on established timelines
Flex Work Arrangement: This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office two days a week, Tuesdays and Wednesdays with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% of the time based on business needs.
• 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
• 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
• 3+ years of program and project management
• Passion and commitment to inclusion & diversity
• Track record managing multiple projects effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Strong communication skills (research, interview, write, edit, and present)
• Strong interest and willingness to drive change
• Ability to work both independently under limited supervision and as a strong collaborative team member
• Exceptional organizational skills with high degree of attention to detail
• Ability to synthesize and analyze data and trends
• High proficiency in MS Office programs and ability to adapt to and learn new software programs/systems
