About the Role

What you need to have:

MBA anticipated graduation date of 2023; Transcript to be submitted

Engagement in extra-curricular activities such as volunteering, sporting teams, and/or community initiatives

Corporate work experience preferred, but not required

Must identify as Black, African American, Afro Latinx, Afro Caribbean

Intention to join Marsh McLennan full-time during or upon completion of the RISE program

Successful completion of the Marsh McLennan recruitment process

Accessibility to a local office, should full-time employment ensue; Marsh McLennan offers and encourages a hybrid work environment

Requirements

What can you expect?

Build a strong foundation across issues of risk, strategy and people with a focus on social justice

Research to obtain understanding of businesses within Marsh McLennan

Work closely with managers, coaches, and sponsors to further develop business acumen and leadership competencies

Summarize research and client information

Present a business challenge that involves a current or new project

Identify risks associated with businesses or projects

Understand consulting methodologies and tools

Perform basic numerical computations and analyze financial data

Successful completion of fellowship offers priority consideration for full time placement within Marsh McLennan

The Racial Inclusion and Social Equity (RISE) Fellowship program is an innovative partnership between Marsh McLennan, Fisk University, The National Black MBA Association, and René Carayol with Inspired Leaders which will provide you with:

An enriching curriculum of practical business knowledge and social justice instruction

8-month program (6-8 hours per month) with scheduled workshops focused on leadership development and social justice instruction

Exposure to the Marsh McLennan enterprise, leaders, and a vast array of opportunities to explore future career opportunities within the company

A program experience tailored to each candidate’s previous educational background, interests, and ambitions

We will count on you to:

Aspire to grow professionally and personally while expanding leadership skills, contributing with authenticity, and demonstrating active and consistent engagement

Desire to increase a sense of belonging through active participation and attending key compenents of the program

Navigate a career transition to full-time employment with Marsh McLennan during or upon completion of the RISE program
