About the Role

The DEI Specialist has the primary responsibility for supporting the development, execution and day to day operations of various programs and initiatives. Responsibilities include:
§Partner with the executive team, HR Business Partners, Recruiting, HR Communications, Compensation, Benefits, and other functions to understand and develop a strategy to attract, retain and develop the best talent for the business
§Support programming and ongoing operations for existing and new Associate Resource Groups (ARGs). This includes helping to coordinate events, manage membership lists, update websites, balance budgets, lead meetings, and conduct marketing activities.
§Support the day-to-day operations and ongoing continuous improvement of assigned DEI programs
§Lead the planning and execution for assigned DEI events, programs, and initiatives
§Work closely with Data Analytics function to prepare and analyze reports. Scorecards created will drive strategy and decision making by highlighting opportunity areas and the impact of our work. Expect to work with complex sets of data and heavily leverage your data visualization skills.
§Support deployment of EVP/Employer branding and communications activities.


Essential Skills

§At least 5 years of relevant work experience in Diversity & Inclusion, Learning & Development, Talent Management and/or Organization Development
§Can articulate common DEI concepts and frameworks (i.e., identity, power, privilege)
§Ability to foster trust and build relationships across cultures and backgrounds
§Excellent communication skills and a passion for working across functions and with c-level leaders, synthesizing multiple points of view and owning a coherent action plan, all while negotiating and influencing others.
§Works independently within scope of responsibilities, anticipates problems, and uses sound judgment to manage multiple projects, stakeholders and priorities to meet deadlines.

Ideal Candidate:
§Demonstrates curiosity and an interest in learning and improving upon best practices.
§Writing and communication skills to draft compelling marketing campaigns and tailor messages
§Proficiency in existing and emerging social media platforms
§Comfort manipulating data from multiple sources (in Excel) and analytical mindset to interpret data and reveal trends
§Consolidates information from various sources including feedback from others to reach sound decisions.
§Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a field which is directly related
